Your database is segmented by different ‘lists’ under the Contacts object. You can use these lists to find out which contacts and prospects you need to follow up with. In particular, the ‘Deposit Follow Up’ list is very useful to keep track of people who have paid a deposit, yet haven’t fully enrolled, so you can follow up with them.
